Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Welcome to WayToMasters. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of waytomasters.com, including its courses, videos, written materials, accounts, payment facilities, and related services.

By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using WayToMasters, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase a course.

1. About WayToMasters

WayToMasters provides online educational courses and learning materials, including maritime subject explanations, worked examples, videos, and written solutions.

WayToMasters is an independent educational platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any examination authority, maritime administration, educational institution, classification society, employer, or government organisation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to create an account or make a purchase.

By using the website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

An account may be required to purchase and access courses.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current registration information
  • Keep your password confidential
  • Use only your own account
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access
  • Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account

Accounts and course access are personal and must not be shared, sold, transferred, or made available to another person.

We may suspend or restrict an account if we reasonably believe it is being shared, misused, accessed fraudulently, or used in violation of these Terms.

4. Courses and Educational Content

Course descriptions, included lessons, access periods, and prices are displayed on the relevant course page.

We aim to provide accurate and useful educational material. However:

  • Course content is provided for learning and revision
  • It does not replace official regulations, publications, notices, textbooks, professional advice, or instructions from the relevant authority
  • Students remain responsible for checking current official requirements
  • Examination questions, rules, syllabi, and professional requirements may change
  • Enrolment does not guarantee examination success, certification, employment, promotion, or any particular result

We may correct errors, update explanations, replace lessons, or make reasonable changes to course content where necessary.

5. Course Access

Access begins after successful payment and enrolment unless stated otherwise.

The access period applicable to your purchase will be the period displayed on the course or checkout page at the time of purchase.

Course access is provided only to the purchasing student. Access may end when the purchased period expires. Unless expressly stated, an expired course does not automatically renew.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting issues, internet failures, security incidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Prices and Payments

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees unless another currency is displayed.

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another payment provider available at checkout. Your use of a payment provider may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information. An order is confirmed only after successful payment authorisation.

If money is debited but the order is not confirmed, contact us at support@waytomasters.com with the transaction details. Do not send card PINs, UPI PINs, CVVs, online-banking passwords, or other confidential banking credentials.

Applicable taxes, if any, will be displayed or included as required.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Purchases are subject to our published Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Because course access may be provided immediately after payment, an order cannot ordinarily be cancelled in the same manner as an undelivered physical product. Eligible requests will be considered under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, all WayToMasters course content and website material—including videos, explanations, calculations, diagrams, text, graphics, branding, downloadable resources, and lesson arrangements—is owned by or licensed to WayToMasters and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the course for your own learning during the applicable access period.

You must not:

  • Record, copy, download, reproduce, or redistribute course content except where a download is expressly provided
  • Share videos, screenshots, written solutions, login credentials, or course files
  • Sell, sublicense, upload, publish, or publicly display course material
  • Use course material to create or operate a competing product or service
  • Circumvent website, payment, account, or content-security measures
  • Remove copyright, branding, or ownership notices

Unauthorised use may result in immediate suspension without affecting any other rights available to us.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use the website unlawfully or fraudulently
  • Attempt to access another user’s account
  • Introduce malware or harmful code
  • Interfere with the website, servers, payment process, or security systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract protected course content
  • Submit abusive, unlawful, misleading, or infringing content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer restricted website functionality

10. Feedback and User Submissions

If you submit feedback, reviews, questions, or other content, you confirm that it is truthful, lawful, and does not violate another person’s rights.

You retain ownership of your original content. You grant WayToMasters permission to store, display, and use it as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and promote the service. We will not publicly display personal contact information as part of a testimonial without appropriate permission.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

WayToMasters may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, hosting providers, video-delivery providers, and external websites.

We are not responsible for the independent content, availability, terms, or privacy practices of third-party websites and services.

12. Service Availability

We aim to keep WayToMasters accessible, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Where a technical problem within our control prevents access, we will make reasonable efforts to restore the service. Where appropriate, we may extend access or provide another reasonable remedy.

13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, WayToMasters is not liable for:

  • Examination results or professional decisions
  • Reliance on outdated or superseded official requirements
  • Loss caused by account sharing or failure to protect login credentials
  • Internet, device, browser, or third-party-service failures
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where a user:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Shares an account or course content
  • Engages in fraud or payment abuse
  • Threatens the security or operation of the website
  • Uses the platform unlawfully

Where reasonably possible, we will review the circumstances before taking permanent action.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, payment arrangements, or legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Changes will not retrospectively reduce an already purchased access period without a valid legal or security reason.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

If a dispute arises, please first contact support@waytomasters.com so that we can attempt to resolve it directly. If it cannot be resolved, the dispute may be submitted to a court or consumer forum having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.
